MRI Viewer
Loads the MRI volume and displays the Sagittal/Coronal/Axial views of the scan in separate windows, and defines the Subject Coordinate System (SCS). See BrainStorm Tutorial section IMPORTING MRI DATA for an application of using this window.
This tool can also be used to overlay fMRI SPM analysis maps with anatomical MR's (see Sample figure). This feature requires that the SPM toolbox is installed on your computer (http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/ ). See Menu Item fMRI for further explanation.

IMAGE COORDINATES
| Define Fiducials |
Click to assign the points you have selected to the default fiducials and create the Subject Coordinate System (SCS). |

Show the fiducials that you have selected previously. |
VIEW
| Lock Views |
Select to lock the current view. |
| Add Crosshairs |
Show the Crosshairs if they are invisible, or add the crosshairs on the fiducial that is visible. |
| Zoom |
Use for detailed view. |
| Change Colormap |
Change the colormap of the 3 slice images |

Use to load volume sources, that were obtained using an inverse method and saved previously, on the MRI volume. |

fMRI
| Import SPM Maps |
Use to overlay fMRI SPM analysis maps with anatomical MR's.
Both the anatomical and functional volumes are needed to be stored in Analyze format for this purpose.
First select the anatomical MRI (*.img).
Then select the functional analysis volume (*.img). |
BUTTONS
| SELECT |
Select a fiducial from the list to see the location (coordinates) or to make changes on it. Hint: You should check Show Fiducials section on the Menu item Fiducials to see the list of the fiducials that have been selected previously and watch Messages window for location of the fiducial in MCS or CCS coordinate systems. |
| RENAME |
Rename the fiducial that is selected in the Fiducials listbox. |
| DELETE |
Delete the fiducial that is selected in the Fiducials listbox. |
| BRIGHTEN/DARKEN |
Change the brightness of the scans. |
| QUIT |
Quit the MRI Viewer |
You can see the list of points fiducials and the location of this point in the list boxes.
