I have installed Brainstorm on my PC under MatLab 7.3 (and changed the appearance to Classic Windows as you recommend). The Data Viewer window has several problems when I tried it with the Demo Data Trial 1:
1. I click "Setup" and "Select" channel in order to view channels separately, but when I select from the list of channels and attempt to place some in the "Bad Channels" column, the window disappears and no action is taken.
2. When I select "Column" mode on the Data Viewer, the plot simply disappears.

EEG analysts must be able to view their data one channel at a time, and must be able to edit the raw data to edit out segments with muscle artifacts. There seems to be no way to do that with BrainStorm.

Thanks for your feedback.

We're experiencing troubles with Matlab 7.3 versions and higher regarding the managment of windows. We're working on it; in the meantime, would it be possible that you downgrade to 7.2 or 7.1 ?

As for artifact rejection and data review, BrainStorm has limited features besides bandpass filtering. Our focus in on source analysis and we assume that users would proceed to data cleaning beforehand. Many software offer such features. We recommend EEGLAB (http://www.sccn.ucsd.edu/eeglab/) in the Matlab environment.

Cheers,
