Brain Source Localization synthetic Data

Hello there
I am very new to BrainStrom and source localization in general
Is there anyway to simulate EEG data for source localization , i.e select the location of the sources and then multiply them by a leadfield matrix to get the EEG data.
My primary goal is to use this data is to validate my source localization (inverse model) method, So i want to make sure that I know where exaclty the source are
Any help would be appriciated
