Martin Cousineau graduated ''summa cum laude'' from the University of Ottawa in mathematics and computer science. He went on to do his Master's in computational neuroimaging at the University of Sherbrooke, working with diffusion MRI at the [[http://scil.dinf.usherbrooke.ca/|Sherbrooke Connectivity Imaging Laboratory (SCIL)]]. In 2017, he joined Sylvain Baillet at the McConnel Brain Imaging Centre to help with the Brainstorm development and the new open data initiatives.
