Band-pass Filtering Error

I have been working with the neuromag raw tutorial on the Brainstorm site. I have followed all of the steps and had everything work until the pre-processing section. Whenever I try to use the Band-pass filtering I revieve an error message that says “Frequencies must be non-decreasing.”

I am using the sample data available for download on the Brainstorm site, and I have followed the directions in the tutorial to the letter, but the error keeps happening. I have also tried it with data that I have collected, but I get the same result. Does anyone know what could be the problem, or what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob,

The Neuromag tutorial on the website has not been updated for a long time. For instance, now we advise to run the band-pass filter on the continuous file rather than the imported epochs.
I will update it at some point, but for now you should follow instead the procedures detailed in the introduction tutorials:
http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/TutRawViewer
http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/TutRawSsp
http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/TutRawAvg
http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/Epilepsy

It shouldn’t be difficult to transpose it to Neuromag recordings, let me know if you have any question.
