Montage, reference for Granger Causality

I just would like to verify, that the EEG data are not re-referenced or any montage (e.g. common average) is applied prior to the computation of the Granger Causality in the spectral domain.

P.S. at least I did not find anything in this direction in the code

By default, no.
For imported epochs: what you have in your file is what is passed to whatever process you run.
For continuous raw files: it depends whether there are linear operators applied to your data. Check in the tab Record, menu Artifacts > Select active projectors.
