Hi!
I'm trying to use Phase Transfer Entropy,
I was reading the Lobier (2013) paper but I didn't understand the measure,
can anyoune help me with this plase?:
is the Phase Transfer Entropy (PTE) output a number like squared coherence (between 0 and 1, the closest to zero, the lowest coherence)?
In the paper it seems that PTE is a directed measure, but I don't know how to get the causality, is it like in the imaginary Coh? ( ths sign - or + states the causality bewtween an electrode pair)
lastone:
How to interpret the BS PTE output? comparing one electrode again itself gave me an output of -0.5 (FP1-FP1), so I don't understand wich PTE output is true or significant.
For this message I compute PTE using the "return normalizated PTE" option, but I don't get how the output will change without this option selected.
Thanks in advance!
