I also encountered a "out of memory" problem when importing Nicolet .e files using brainstorm, but I have updated brainstorm to the latest brainstorm version(29-May-2020), and my matlab version is 2016b, my OS is windows10 2004.

I could not access your file, it's a private link. Please do not post it again, I don't think this would help much in debugging this problem. I removed the non-working link and made you topic public.
The Nicolet reader we used in Brainstorm is provided by the Nicolet company. If you get any issue with it, please contact directly the authors of this function, by creating an issue of the following GitHub repository:
https://github.com/ieeg-portal/Nicolet-Reader
In case the error is actually coming from Brainstorm and not from the file NicoletFile.m:
Please copy-paste the full text of the error message you get in the Matlab command window, including the stack trace.
