If you refer to this refine head registration
If you are using an anatomy template, you should never use the menu "refine head registration". This is to be used only when you have a strict correspondance between the head surface (individual MRI processed with FreeSurfer) and the head points (eg. digitized with a Polhemus).
do you think that it is acceptable?
The head of the subject is very far from the sensors, the quality of the recordings in the frontal and central regions is probably very low. But upper parts of the occipital, parietal an temporal regions might still have been recorded properly.
