Problems with update and disappearing of the data in the brainstorm_db

Dear Francois,

I am experiencing multiple problems with Brainstorm since January.

  1. I am not able to update the latest version of the software: after that I choose to upload the new version, the computer tries to do it for hours, but it cannot do it.
  2. Today for the second time in two weeks, the full protocol disappeared completely from the database, and we need to reload the back-up (see attachment)
  3. Error during epoching (see attachment)
Thank you very much for your assistance

1 - Delete your brainstorm3 folder and download a new one from the website.

2/3 - This is the same issue. I don’t know what could cause this. You would need to find a reproducible issue for me to investigate. Was it the same protocol the two times?
Maybe there is something wrong in the protocol itself. Check the path to the anat and data folders for all the protocols carefully. It should look like this (with no extra files):
http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/CreateProtocol#Database_files
http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/ExploreAnatomy#On_the_hard_drive:_MRI

In case of doubt, you can reset Brainstorm (menu File > Edit preferences), select the same brainstorm_db folder, do NOT reload all the protocols, and then load only the protocols you need with the menu File > Load from folder.
