After updating Brainstorm to the latest version, the Matlab file protocol I exported before now shows as empty. However, the size and format of the original files have not changed. When I try to open them with the old version, it indicates that I have already opened them with the new version of Brainstorm and cannot use the old version again. What should I do?
Before starting, make a backup of your protocol folder, and store it outside of the Brainstorm database folder. With this done, follow theses steps:
- In the main Brainstorm window go to File > Delete protocol > Only detach from database
- Close Brainstorm and Matlab
- Delete the file
/brainstorm_db/YOUR_PROTOCOL/data/protocol.mat - Start Brainstorm
- In the main window, go to File > Load protocol > Load from folder and select your protocol folder `/brainstorm_db/YOUR_PROTOCOL``
With this Brainstorm will regenerate the contents of the protocol.mat file (used to fill in the database tree in the GUI) from all the files in the protocol.
