currently it is possible to calcualte AEC within frequency bands. Would it be possible to calculate AEC between different frequency bands (e.g. alpha-gamma)?
In principle, yes, although it is not implemented in Brainstorm: I am not sure whether this form of cross frequency coupling has been reported in the literature (I’d guess probably yes as it is simple enough to implement.)

My question was not clear enough, I was actually wondering if this can be done in brainstorm 
Thanks for pointing at the reference. Maybe you can contact the authors and ask whether they’d be willing to share their code with you, with possible integration in Brainstorm eventually?

I tried to contact the authors, but they haven’t replied. So, some time in future I will try to implement this by myself, but this may be in several months, because it is not my priority.
