Embarrassingly, I figured out the problem moments after posting this... I just had to expand the "Events" window to reveal the events below.

I'm relatively new to both EEG analysis and Brainstorm, so I'm following along through the tutorial. So far it's been great, but I've hit an issue on the event markers tutorial: http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/EventMarkers
The tutorial says:
All the markers available in the file are listed in the Events section of the Record tab.

However, in my Brainstorm window, I have the referenced MEG file open, with the specifications from the tutorial, but the event markers don't show up in the "Record" tab. They do show up as buttons along the top of the MEG raw file, but not under the Events tab in the main Brainstorm window (see attached image):
Apologies for the very basic question, but has anyone else had this issue? Am I simply missing some setting in my preferences?
