Batch editing event names

Hello,
Is it possible to batch-edit (rename) event names?
If I should touch created .mat file, which variable I should touch?

for example, I loaded 'raw data link' of EGI .mff file.
brainstorm db created below file (4.7GB)
data_0raw_Subject_01.mat

Besides, I am little bit confused about 'raw data link'.
If I delete event or rename, it just change .mat file, or also modifies linked raw file (.mff)?

Dumb question. I found tutorial
https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/Scripting#Example:_Editing_events

However, still not sure about queston 2.
Does brainstorm touches/modifies the very raw file it imports?

No, it does not. The changes in the events are saved in the saved in the .mat file corresponding to the "Link to raw file".

Best,
Raymundo
