Brain Entropy in space and time

I was reading a paper (Hedrich et al., 2017) that referenced the Brain Entropy in space and time toolbox that implements EEG/MEG source localization techniques within the Maximum Entropy on the Mean (MEM) framework. I don't see this option available in the Compute Sources main menu; however, if I toggle the "Non-linear" option it shows up but does throws an error when I try to run it. I'm not sure if it is just not functional or if there is something else I need to do to use this function.

Hi Ann,

This missing function be_main_call is supposed to be installed by the BrainEntropy installer, which should be executed before trying to call be_main.
I don't know what is not working on your computer. I've just tested on my computer and the automatic installer seems to be working fine.

Maybe you could try to call the installer manually.
In the Matlab command window, simply type be_install.

Hi Francois,

I just ran be_install, which seemed to work fine, but when I restarted Brainstorm I got the warning below. Is there something else that I need to update? I'm using Matlab R2019a and the most current update of Brainstorm.

Thanks!
Ann

Indeed, the BrainEntropy developers still need to modify this process...

Could you please take care of this?

But this shouldn't prevent you from running the GUI version.
Ignore this warning, and try again running this computation with a right-click from the database explorer.

This now works using right-click from the database explorer. As always, thanks for your help and prompt response!
