Brainstorm doesn't start on Windows

Brainstorm doesn't start as it says the Installation instruction. Matlab Runtime (R2022b) is installed but after double click on brainstorm3.bat popup cmd comes up says:

ERROR: Matlab R2022b does not seem to be installed on your computer.
   1) Go to the Brainstorm website
   2) Download the Matlab Runtime (R2022b).

Press any key to continue . . .

as I wrote, Matlab Runtime is installed and I run the brainstorm3.bat as a administrator...and no effect

By default Brainstorm checks for Matlab runtime in these paths:

C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime\v913
C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime\R2022b
C:\Program Files (x86)\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime\v913
C:\Program Files (x86)\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime\R2022b

Is the Matlab runtime installed in a different place on your computer?

Hi,
I have checked before I made the topic.
My path looks like here:

That is why I'm suprised

What is the version of Brainstorm that you downloaded? It must at least April 2023 or newer.

Few things to try:

  1. There are cases where antivirus or security software interferes with the MATLAB installer. Try to uninstall the Matlab runtime, and install it again with the security software off.

  2. In PowerShell, try to execute java.exe - version in
    C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime\R2022b\sys\java\jre\win64\jre\bin\
    and post the result here.

  3. If it still does not run, post the content of the brainstorm3.bat file

I have downloaded version above.
Matlab is working correctly. While Brainstorm hadn't started I downloaded EEGLAB and it works correctly with current installation of MATLAB.
Anyway I'm trying to analyse which solution would be the best for my purposes. I'd like to work out the way to visualise average value from certain part of skull. I mean take data from 2 electrodes eg. F3 and F4 and get the mean value Theta, Beta, Alpha, and so on. Next, to visualise bands in shape of colour brain map of certain area.

Do you mean the Matlab Runtime, or a full installation of Matlab?
If the second one, have you tried to run Brainstorm from source (brainstorm.m) ?

I have tried to replicate the reported error with different configurations, and so far no results.
Can you post the requested information?:

There are plenty ways to visual explore your data in Brainstorm, these are some of them:
