Bug Report: Error generating MATLAB script for MNE-Python maxwell_filter process

Dear Brainstormers,

When I attempted to generate a MATLAB script from the Process1 tab after adding the "MNE-Python: maxwell_filter (SSS/tSSS)" process, Brainstorm throws an error because the process_mne_maxwell function does not implement the required FormatComment method.

my environment:

  • Brainstorm version: 09-Jan-2026 (latest release at the posting time)

  • MATLAB version: R2025b

  • Operating System: Windows 11

  • Python version: 3.10.11 (CPython)

  • MNE-Python version: 1.0.3

I was able to successfully run the Maxwell filter process by directly using the panel, and generating a script will allow me to automatize the workflow. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I'm happy to provide additional details if needed.
