Call for Abstracts: Real-time Functional Imaging and Neurofeedback 2017 in Nara, Japan

Dear Brainstorm community,

Abstract submission for rtFIN2017 is now open until July 15th! The conference is in Nara, Japan from Nov 29th-Dec 1st, hosted by the General Chair, Dr. Mitsuo Kawato of ATR.

We have a stimulating, diverse array of Keynote lecturers as part of a single-track scientific program dedicated to multi-modal perspectives on neurofeedback. There are three types of abstracts: Workshops, 1.5 hour tutorials on new methods, Special Topics, 45-minute panels about key controversies in the field, and Scientific abstracts about your latest work. Please see the website for further information on abstract format and submission.

rtFIN is excited to announce a partnership with NeuroImage in the form of a Special Issue on neurofeedback. We plan on inviting some of the most influential work emerging from the Workshops, Special Topics and Scientific abstracts at rtFIN2017 to participate. It should be noted that this issue is not a conference proceedings and will have an open call to the public.

We will be offering travel awards to meritorious students and postdocs depending on the funding levels available. Postdocs are not eligible for student-discounted registration.

Please let me know if you have any questions going forward about the scientific content of the conference. We thank our current sponsors and note that we have sponsorship packages available in case you or an organization you know of is interested in rtFIN2017. For any questions on sponsorship or logistics of the conference, please contact Ms. Ritsuko Mashimo at bicr-con@atr.jp.

Best regards,
James
