Hi everyone,
I run a ft_cluster based permutation on the frequencies with the function FT t-test paired cluster, averaging time and frequencies.
As you can see from the attached screenshot, there is a mismatch between what appears on the 2D Layout (maps) and the 2D disc [the effect seems mirrored compared to the 2D Layout].
The correct one between the two visualizations should be the 2D Layout (by visual inspection electrode per electrode), so I am wondering whether there is a bug in the cluster-visualization of the 2D disc, or whether I’m doing something wrong?
I already used the function in the past but didn’t have this ‘bug’.
I updated Brainstorm to the last version (11th September)!
Do you have an idea of what should I do?
Thank you very much,
Rachele
I’m not sure I understand what is wrong with this plots.
The “2D Layout” and “2D Disc” view show the same thing.
The questionable part are these red dots on the 2D Disc view: what are they?
Hi Francois,
yes I was referring to the red dots on the 2D disc.
Those dots appears automatically when I open the visualisation of the 2D - FT file. Similar red dots appear also in other cluster-based permutation files, but with other dispositions.
I was wondering what they refer to, since they are not in line with the effects showed by the images. But I will simply refer to the 2D Layout as trustful effect.
Thank you,
Rachele
I’m not sure I understand how these files were created.
Can you please send me one of these files, together with the corresponding channel file (in Group Analysis / Common files). Zip them, upload them somewhere (dropbox, google drive…) and post the download link here or send it to me as a private message.
