Cluster tab with time-frequency data

Hi,

I would like to overlap two channels or two conditions from time-frequency data (already grouped in frequency bands for example). I’ve tried to use the cluster tab in the same way I do for potentials but it does no seem to work. It says that there are no data to display. What am I doing wrong in this case?
Is there another way to do what I’m trying to do or should I just export everything in Matlab to plot it ?

Thanks,
Svetlana

Hi Svetlana,

I’m sorry, for now the Cluster tab doesn’t work with time-frequency files. I added this to my to-do list, but won’t have time to work on it immediately.
There is no easy way to overlay the information from two time-frequency files.
Exporting to Matlab and generating the plot yourself will be easiest solution.

Cheers,
Francois

Ok François, thanks for the quick reply !

In the same way, I would visualize my time-frequency topographies for some cluster sensors. The cluster tab doesn’t work so I tried to custom a montage but it doesn’t work. Is there another way except exporting to matlab, please?

No, there is no easy way from the interface to average online a group of electrodes in a time-frequency file.
You need first to compute the average of the TF maps in your cluster, and then display it.
You can do it with the process “Extract > Extract values”, enter your list of channels to average in the option “Signal names or indices” (separated with commas), and check the box “Averge selected signals”.
