Hello !

I have a problem with overlapping spheres modeling, it is not working and causes freezing the computers every time. The process window shows %100 completed then the computer freezes. What should I do ?

Can you please provide a few more details? Are you using the cortex surface or MRI volume? And how many vertices are you using? Also, does your computer meet the minimum requirements listed here: http://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Installation

Hi !

I am using MRI volume with regular grid. It shows an error a window "out of memory, restart matlab " both of computing head model and computer sources. When it works it lasts approximetly 35-40 minutes each of subjects. And yes, my computer does.

Hi Selin,

This is not normal. The computation of the forward and inverse models using the overlapping spheres options should take less than a minute.
Make sure that you are not using the high-resolution cortex. In the anatomy of the subject, make sure that the “cortex_15000V” is selected (green).
If you’re still having memory issues, there is probably something wrong with your computer (32bit windows ? less than 2Gb of RAM?)

I handled that problem by increasing the grid resolution.
