Configure customized BEM grids and leadfield matrices for source localization

Hello, engineers at Brainstorm! In fact, I want to do EHG source localization, so I am starting with EEG source localization in hopes of applying similar methods to EHG. To this end, I have created a BEM mesh with three-layer surface boundaries and a source model, and then used OpenMEEG to compute the leadfield matrix, further generating a series of EEG data. I hope to perform source localization using my own computed leadfield matrix, as this is necessary for transitioning to EHG. However, I do not have any anatomical files. I would like to ask if the anatomical files are must?, and how to use an external leadfield matrix for source localization?

Hello @yy,

Sorry what do you mean with EHG? A typo?

Subject anatomy is recommended for a more accurate source estimation. However, if you do not have the anatomy for each subject it is possible to use a Default anatomy, and if you have head points, it is possible to warp this Default anatomy
