I am studying about the analyzing of functional brain connections with using scouts.
How can I use a large scout that covers all areas of the brain to reduce computational volume?(for example 14-20 scouts)

When running any of the connectivity processes for your sources (
), it is possible to select the User scouts or scouts from available atlases

Using a very large scout averages the values over thousands of signals, and would probably result in cancelling out a lot of the information of interest. If you are not interested in the spatial localization: compute the connectivity at the EEG sensor level.
