Deleting (or ignoring) EOG channels from Eeglab

Hey
I import epochs from eeglab. I have 37 channels (32 EEG and 5 EOG and eyetracking channels). How could I delete or ignore these 5 extra channels in Brainstorm, please?

Hi,

you can simply mark them as bad. They won't be showed and ignored in the following analyses. You can do that in at least two ways.
Right click -> good/bad channels -> mark some channels as bad.

or drag the file in the process window.
Import -> channel file -> set bad channels

Hello

A more flexible option is to change the type of the channels and set it to EOG instead of EEG:
https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/Epilepsy#Prepare_the_channel_file
I recommend you read this tutorial before trying to process your own EEG recordings (on top of all the introduction tutorials to learn how to use Brainstorm: https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials)

This will leave the option to look at the EOG if needed, and will prevent the program from trying to associate these electrodes with any 3D positions if your goal is do do some source localization.
