Dear experts
Hi;
Happy new year
I've introduced 2 dipoles/scouts in a volume head model (BEM default anatomy); after that I've assigned 2 simulated signals to them and simulated EEG signals. After that I did EEG source localization progress (MNE). I have two question:
how I can find the location of 2 dipoles (suppose that I don't access to MNI coordinates those I introduced first )?
I did "Dipole Scanning" process and BS gave me some probability dipole locations.
I'm going to show some of dipoles those are satisfy my assumptions, how can I show them in 3D MRI with 2 simulated dipoles from first step?
Retrieving the location of the Scouts vertices requires two steps:
The information of the 1-vertex Scout (aka dipole) that was used is saved in the Surface file where they were defined. The field Vertices for the Scout indicates the index of the vertex on the used Surface. More specifically, this info is in SufaceMat.Atlas(iAtlas).Scouts(iScout).Vertices.
See: https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/Scouts#On_the_hard_drive
Double-click the dipole scan result ( ) to plot the resulting dipoles in a 3D MRI figure
With that figure open, go to the Surface tab, and click on the Add surface button ( ) and add the Cortex (this is where the simulation dipoles were defined).
Still in the Surface tab, with the Cortex selected (cortex icons should be greyed), change the Transparency to 100%
Go to the Scout tab and select your Atlas with the simulation Scouts, and select the button Show all the scouts ( )
