Downsample channels

I have an EEG channel file with 256 channels. After imported in BST, I want to select specific 128 channels of EGI Geodesic Sensor Net systems. Is it possible to do this? I found that add EEG position have the GSN-128 option, but I don't know whether this is applying the default positions or selecting the specific 128 channels from my 256 channels file. Can you help me?

Please use the montage feature of Brainstorm to select the desired subset of channels.

With the option Add EEG positions there are four options:

• From file, imports the positions from the provided file. If this files has positions for the fiducials used in Brainstorm, the cap is automatically aligned.

• Either Colin27 and ICBM152, use the default positions to aligned to such anatomies

• Not aligned, uses the EEG sensor positions provided by the manufacturer (these may not be aligned with)

• If the subject has other Studies with their respective channel files, the option From other studies will appear. This option as indicated, will bring the electrode positions from another channel file.
