Hi everyone,
I run the head mesh with SimNIBS (in Brainstorm) and after I down-sampled the surface. I copied the temporal folder generated after running the commands, but I want to know exactly where and which file is the one associated to the down-sampled surface.
Thank you,
Silvana
Hi @SilvanaHuertasPenen
When you run SimNibs the tmp folder of brainstorma contains the simnibs outputs, within this folder you will find the [NameOfYourSubject].msh file which contains the FEM tetrahedral mesh, and a subfolder named m2m_[NameOfYourSubject], inside this subfolder you will find a set of files, and the files with extension .stl are the surfaces of the model.
If you downsampled the surfaces within Brainstorm, then these surfaces are stored within the brainstorm database, and not within the simnibs folder.
You can find the these file from Brainstorm by : right click on the surface ==> File ==> Show in file explorer.
SimNIBS runs CAT12 for the segmentation of the MRI.
The output of CAT12 is stored in m2m_Subject01\segment\cat.
For information on how this is used in Brainstorm, see this tutorial:
