After I update to 2025-12-17. When I want to save the change of channel file, I got an error message:
Warning: Panel 'ChannelEditor' was not registered in Brainstorm GUI context, hide forced.

Location: gui_show/ClosePanelCallback (line 238)

Anyone can help me? After I update, I found the brainstorm can’t work anymore!!!

Hello @TheGala, the Channel file editor seems to be working fine.

That is not an error, but a warning.

  • Can you provide more details on how that warning disrupts your work?
  • Please describe the steps to prompt that warning
  • Also provide more information on how you are running Brainstorm (source or standalone), as well as your computer setup.

I running Brainstorm source on Win11，20260109 version.

I review SEEG data in the Brainstorm, when I want to edit the channel file, such as change the type of contact, it will display this message in Matlab after I close the edit window.

Meanwhile, Brainstorm will give me any error message even when I use other function. All of these problems happened after I update my Brainstorm.@Raymundo.Cassani

The same error?

Could you try a clean installation of Brainstorm?

  1. Close Matlab
  2. Rename you current Brainstorm source code folder to something like brainstorm3_backup
  3. Download Brainstorm and unzip Brainstorm source code
  4. Restart Matlab
  5. Run the brainstorm.m script from the fresh installation
