EEG epilepsy tutorials

Hi
Thank you for your very good software
I am a PhD student and my researching field is EEG signals.
In order to learn your good software in the field of "EEG and epilepsy" I read tutorial/Epilepsy.
In this tutorial, I used Brainstorm epileptic data, such as the tutorial.
But in placing the electrodes on the MRI of epileptic data, the electrodes are not in a good position and are not placed on the right head, while there is no problem in training the software with the same data. How is it possible? And what should I do to properly position properly the electrodes? Thanks
I mean, if it needs manual settings, what should i do?
Thanks

First of all, if you are a new Brainstorm user, we recommend you start by following the introduction tutorials, not this EEG tutorial (see the introduction of that that page).
The EEG/Epilepsy tutorial is an advanced tutorial that you may have trouble reproducing if you haven't followed the basic tutorials.

Regarding the registration you obtain: you have most likely done something wrong, you are supposed to obtain exactly the figures in the tutorial.
Try starting over from the beginning.

please help me that how i can change the electrode position manually.
you before said that with rotational and transformation, but where and how
why brainstorm dosent have any training about change electrode position manually and why it didnt give any sample about this?
is it posible to change the electrode position manually in EEG MRI viewer? with respect to standard 10-20 electrode position like below figure?
i wanted to solve forward problem with EEG and i need your answer quickly before creating headmodels...
thanks so much

Please avoid posting multiple times the same questions in different threads, it makes it heavier for us to manage and more confusing for other users to review. Thanks.

at first thanks for your answer to my question
i should say that, before i start with EEG/Epilepsy , i was trying with tutorials(1,2,3,4,5,6,7) and i had the same result with the result of the tutorial and then i read the tutorial EEG/Epilepsi.
in your answer you didnt say anything about how we can change the electrode position manually, if i had another data and in my process the electrode position doesnt align with MRI , how can i change it and how can i match them?
sorry for repeating my question because i didnt find about this topic in Brainstorm tutorials
dear Froncois, as you said,i try again with new protocol and new subject and doing it step by step with tutorials, But I came to the same results!!!! i just do mri registration and i didnt change positions manually...
so what should i do? please help me because i need this section for my research...

thank so much
i waited for your answer

in your answer you didnt say anything about how we can change the electrode position manually

The information is in the tutorial I cited:

If you can't understand where is your manipulation errors and think there is an issue with our tutorial or our code, I invite you to execute the script tutorial_epilepsy.m. Read the header of the file for help on how to execute it. It will reproduce automatically the results of the tutorial:
https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/Epilepsy#Scripting

After the script execution stops (10-15 min), explore the MRI-EEG registration.
If it looks correct, then it is up to you to understand what you did wrong.
If it looks incorrect, please report it and we'll try to debug the problem further.
