I have to analyze at rest EEG data. Is following the MEG resting state tutorial for the pre-processing and the cleaning alright (no adjustment needed?) ?

It depends what you expect to compute from the recordings, you should adjust the preprocessing based on your objectives.
You may need to execute either some ICA cleaning for removing eye movements for instance, and maybe apply a high-pass and/or low-pass filter.
