Error import anatomy folder

Dear all,

When I tried to use cortical surface of FreeSurfer on Brainstorm, I had error message.
Why did this error occur?
What shold I do to success import anatomy?

Makoto

Dear Makoto,

This error could come from the following problems:

  1. if your user do not have the necessary rights to write the user folder (this could happen if you created you database from an administrator account and then work from a regular account)
  2. if your hard drive is full
  3. if the .mgz file is corrupted
  4. if there is some problem with the java code to decompress the file (from .mgz to .mgh)

You can check for #1 and #2 by yourself.
For #3: please try to import the file T1.mgz as a simple MRI file in the database (“Import MRI” menu)

If it doesn’t work, please send me the T1.mgz so I can check what is wrong with it (upload somewhere, eg dropbox, then send me the link in a separate email - click on my username on this forum).

Cheers,
Francois

Dear Francois,

I checked 1)&2) and I think it is unlikely.
Next, I tried to import the file T1.mgz by “Import MRI” menu.
I had error message again.
So I’ll upload the T1.mgz on dropbox.
Sorry, but please check this file.
Thank you for your help.

Makoto

I could not get any file from the dropbox link .
Can you send me an updated link?

Dear all,

I got error message when I import cortical surface making on FreeSurfer.
This reason was very easy miss.
There were lack of date moved from FreeSurfer to Brainstorm.
It’s safe to move whole file including all date from FreeSurfer to Brainstorm.

Makoto
