I moved your question to a new thread because I could not see the connection with the baby atlas topic.
The error you reported here indicates that your version of Brainstorm is outdated.
There is no operator * at line 203 in the current version of process_simulate_recordings.m
Please update Brainstorm and try again.
Let me know if you are using the compiled version of Brainstorm, I would need to recompile a new version.

If you can't run the automatic update:
- delete the existing brainstorm3 folder
- download Brainstorm again from the Download page of the website
