Error process_epileptogenicity

Hi everyone,

I am having a problem generating the epileptogenicity map. When following the guidelines provided by Brainstorm, an error occurs during the last step, indicating that it is impossible to generate the epileptogenicity map. Here is the error message that appears:

I tried the procedure on Monday and managed to generate the maps. However, the difference is that I edited the electrode positions myself on Monday, and when I tried again today, I imported the positions I had created on Monday.

I identified that 115 corresponds to the number of channels (contacts of electrodes) whereas the record file that I imported have 144. Maybe could it be the issue ? But, I didn’t manage to solve the problem.

Thanks a lot

Hi @eltchum, indeed, the issue seems something went wrong with the edition of the channel file.

Can you describe how it was edited?
If possible can you share the Brainstorm channel file?

Hello Raymundo,

The SEEG acquisition data was exported using Nihon Kohden's Neuroworkbench visualization platform. Then, I imported the .eeg file into Brainstorm, following the epileptogenicity guideline. I edited the channel file, removing M and S from the SEEG type, as these are not electrodes. after that, I imported the 3D positions of the electrodes. I had already positioned them on Monday, so I only had to export the positions in .tsv format.

On Monday, I did exactly the same thing but I manually edited the electrode positions with the MRI viewer. But also, the EEG file is different from Monday's (not the same portion extracted).

Thank you for your help

Hello,

I just repeated the test following the guidelines. I noticed that even though the recording portion is different, I can edit the epileptogenicity map when I manually edit the electrode positions. Why does this error appear even though the import is done correctly?

Thank you very much

Hi @eltchum, I'm testing on the shared data, but I could not see anything wrong.

Where you able to follow the epileptogenicity tutorial with the provided data?

Hello @Raymundo.Cassani

I am able to follow the epileptogenicity tutorial and I succeed to perform the epileptogenicity with my own data. Most of the time, I do the SEEG implantation before to perform the epileptogenicity with the guideline proposed in Brainstorm. But when I do epileptogenicity with the guideline and I import the electrodes position from the SEEG implantation done before it doesn’t work and I have a message telling “No channel matching the loaded consider projecting the electrodes on the head surface before source estimation”, but the other times it just did not work (I don’t remember the message).

Could you help me with that ?

Thank you
