Hello,
I extracted scouts using two metrics-Mean and PCA. However, when I checked the file contents of the extracted scouts the "Atlas.Function" shows "Mean" for both extracted scouts. However, the values extractedScout.Value for both both scouts are different, which means this is just an error in naming.
Below is my BST code
Running this code results in two "scouts". Below is figure
Checking file contents for scout01
Checking file content for scout02
I assume first scout as Mean and second one (scout_02) as PCA as my code computes Mean scouts first followed by PCA ones. Am i correct in assuming this? Or is it the order way around.
Regards,
Sri.
Note that the two information you point at are not of the same nature.
The first part of you message is an option to a process, the second one is a data structure.
Each scout has a default function associated to it, in the field Atlas(i).Scout(j).Function. This function is what is used when displaying the scout from the interface, or in processes where you cannot redefine the function. This is the information saved in your file (second part of your message).

The process "Extract scouts time series" allows to override this default function, and to apply the function "pca" to a scout defined with the default function "mean".
But I agree with you, since we redefine the function, it makes sense to report it in the data structures...
So I fixed it in this commit:

Update Brainstorm to get this modification.
