The Division of Perceptual Studies (DOPS), Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine is seeking an Open Rank Professor of Psychiatry (tenure eligible), for a position in the Ray Westphal Neuroimaging Laboratory. The individual would be considered a potential successor for its current co-director, cognitive neuroscientist Edward F. Kelly. The central long-term research interest of this laboratory lies in intensive functional neuroimaging studies (especially EEG, fNIRS and fMRI studies) of anomalous or “psi” processes and psi-conducive altered states of consciousness in exceptional human subjects.
