I was wondering if it is possible to figure out what is low band and high band frequencies on a raw eeg file and is it possible to change it.
Another question: is it possible to change the reference channel on a file as well.

Frequency bands are something you define yourself in your analysis.
If you are planning to use Brainstorm, I recommend you start by following the introduction tutorials using the example dataset provided, at least until #24 (skip the 20-23 if you’re not interested in source modeling).

Then you can read advanced tutorials, more specific to your research question or recording modality. For EEG analysis, I would recommend reading the tutorial “EEG and epilepsy”, available on the same tutorials page.
