Full results (Kernel*recordings) error

Hi everyone,

I am trying to perform model evaluation from the source estimation tutorial, however when I right click on my source file, the "model evaluation" option is not present.

After looking on the forum, I tried to compute the sources with the advanced option “Full results (Kernel*Recordings)” selected. However when I try to do this I get an error that says "cannot compute full results for raw files: import the files first or compute an inversion kernel only." This has me confused since the raw file is uploaded.

I have scoured the forum for a solution, but have not found one. It is my understanding that others had this issue due to a bug: Goodness of fit however I am using the newest version: Version: 3.221127 (27-Nov-2022).
I also read all the tutorials up to this point, however have had no luck solving this issue. If anyone could provide assistance it would be much appreciated!

Given your description, I guess you computed the source directly for the continuous (=raw file).
This option of computing full source files (instead of the optimized format with the imaging kernel) is only available only for imported data, and not continuous files, indeed. Same thing for the "model evaluation" menu.

For the difference between "imported" and "continuous/raw", see the introduction tutorials:

If you are a new user of Brainstorm, I recommend you start by following all the introduction tutorials (section "Get started"), in the correct order, and using the example dataset provided, not your own data.
