How to co register electrode positions and head model

i am not able to locate electrodes on the head model properly

Yeah so i am uploading the .dat file of head points but they are in 2d plane i am not able to properly fix the electrode position over the head anatomy

You need 3D positions, not 2D.
You could also use standard EEG positions, available in the menu "Add EEG positions".

Make sure you already followed all the introduction tutorials until #19 included, and the EEG/Epilepsy tutorial:
