How to delete scouts

I cannot figure out how to delete the scouts I have created. The attached screenshot show how I am trying to using the Edit:Delete function.

To delete some scouts: select them in the list, and press the delete/backspace key, or use the menu Edit>Delete
To delete an atlas (all the collection of scouts): Atlas>Delete atlas
