I am trying to learn brainstorm, but my matlab version is 2012b, I downloaded older version, but the file name bst_bin_R2012b_160308.zip actually contained 2013b version. I tried to download the version i need several times, but help. Please help.

Brainstorm works with all the versions of matlab since 2008a. If you have matlab, you just need to download the package brainstorm_yymmdd.zip and follow the installation instructions “with matlab”.

Here is the problem, Check here please, I click on the bst_bin_R2012b_YYMMDD.zip and it takes me to the download page:
and that R2012b is actually showing R2013b version after download and following the commands.

These alternate binary distributions are only for an installation with the Matlab runtime (for users that do not have Matlab installed). Since you have Matlab fully installed (and your version is 2008a or newer), the latest version of Brainstorm will be fully functional. As mentionned by François, go ahead and download the latest brainstorm_yymmdd.zip package at the top of the page:
