Import EEG channel MR-based positions

Dear Brainstorm users

I am new to Brainstorm and I try to import an electrode position file obtained form the SPOT3D toolbox (NITRC: SPOT3D: Spatial positioning toolbox for head markers using 3D scans: Tool/Resource Info). This toolbox performs automatic sensor positioning in the MR space of the subject's T1. The EEG data have been acquired with a 128 channel ActiCHamp (BrainProducts) system. The 3D scans have been acquired with structure sensor camera and Skanect 3D software from Occipital Inc. (Boulder, CO, USA).

These coordinates seem to the in the RAS space. Can you confirm this? If so,

  1. Save the position in a TSV file with the file name:
    SOMETHING_electrodes.tsv
  2. Import the electrode position with the format:
    EEG: BIDS electrodes.tsv, subject space mm (*.tsv)
