Import HCP-MMP atlas for individual MRI

Hi brainstorm team,

I am trying to use the HCP-MMP1 atlas (Glasser et al., 2016, Nature) for my individual MRI anatomy.

I noticed there is the MMP parcellation for default anatomy, but I have no idea how to import it for my individual MRI data.

Could you provide a tutorial or a nii.gz file?

As it is indicated in the link shared by @Anand_Joshi, you would need to compute the cortical computations when processing the MRIs with FreeSurfer. An non-optimal approach would be to project the desired Schaefer atlas from the Default anatomy to the Subject anatomy. This projection is based on the MNI-normalization. TLDR: For the individual MRI, the cortical parcellation HCP-MMP1 should be computed with FreeSurfer after MRI segmentation (recon-all) with mri_surf2surf. In Brainstorm a non-optimal parcellation could be obtained by projection the HCP-MMP1 atlas from the Default anatomy to the individual anatomy. The mri_surf2surf is superior as it relies on the topology of the cortical surface meshes to align, not only their MNI coordinates as projecting the atlas in Brainstorm.
