Import of mri

I have dicom mri data. I could not get the dicom button on the mri viewer to work. Does this mean it is not yet active?

I used Rorden’s Mricro to convert my dicom to analyze and get the following pop-up error when trying to import into mri viewer:

Unrecognized ANALYZE voxel units:

and the following Matlab error:

AVW_HDR_READ [v 1 $]]
…reading ieee-le Analyze format…done ( 0.05 sec).

AVW_IMG_READ [v 1 $]]
…reading ieee-le Analyze int16 image format.
…reading axial unflipped orientation
…done ( 5.41 sec).

One or more output arguments not assigned during call to ‘avw2brainstorm’.

So, I am not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions would be great!

Hi,

Right the DICOM format reader is not active (it would necessitate the Image Processing Toolbox). Apparently, BsT is trying to read a int16 MRI file. Maybe your MRI is stored in some other format ?

Please open avw2brainstorm.m and place a stop in line 89 (dbstop in avw2brainstorm at 89); run the MR import and type

precision

at the command line. Please post me the value you’re getting here.
