I don’t know how many EEG users have ANT systems with Waveguard caps, but we have not been able to import .cnt and the associated files from our ANT system for a while now. We have worked around it by exporting to different file formats, but if there are enough users, would it be possible to fix the import capabilities from the current ANT software (a.k.a., asalab) and electrode mapping to their waveguard caps? I understand if there is not enough demand - we will keep working around it.
Could you detail what your issues are with the import of your ANT .cnt files?
Can you report the exact error messages your are getting?
If possible, please send me an example file (upload it somewhere then send me the link in a separate email - click on my user name on this forum).
I don’t think I will be able to help directly if the file format changed, as I don’t have the source code for the library reading the ANT files.
It has been developed by the ANT company in collaboration with the FieldTrip developers (see file: brainstorm3\external\eeprobe\AUTHORS).
But I can at least report the issue on the FieldTrip bug tracker.
I just replaced the old version with the new one in brainstorm3\external\eeprobe and it seems to work.
Please update Brainstorm and try again (menu Help > Update Brainstorm).
Sorry - I should have checked their site first for an update! Thank you so much for making this change. We really like all of the analysis features of Brainstorm and especially appreciate the great support!
