Importing Events from Logfile

Hi there,

I’m currently working on an oddball auditory experiment. I’ve used Presentation to present the experiment.

Unfortunately the triggers weren’t picked up by the acquisition computer for three of the participants. I do have the logfiles for the experiments. However when I go to try and import the events, it gives me the error message “No events found in this file”. Do I need to modify the logfiles for them to be picked up by program?

Hello,

I wrote the reader for the Presentation log files very recently, maybe it still contains errors.
Can you please post your log file here, so I can have a look at it?

Zip it or rename it to .txt, and it should let you upload it.

Hi Francois,

I was wondering if there is any way to know when to put the ‘time offset’ once the logfile with the events has been uploaded?

I realise this may be dependent on my own files/work…

Hello

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you are asking for.
You can enter this offset from the menu Events > Add time offset (Record tab), or with the process "Events > Add time offset".

If you're trying to know what is the value you should enter here, I'm not sure I can help you, I don't work with the Presentation software myself. Maybe you could try contacting the other user from the forum:
