Issue with Protocol loading

Hi,
after trying to fit the head on a channel file, my brainstorm started to act crazily. I closed everything and the protocol in question still generate an error mainly :
Error using bst_get
Subject name not specified.

I have tried to remove the protocol that trigger an error, but it is like brainstorm has still the memory on it somewhere (it has remove it from my disk). I can't do anything now in brainstorm, as I get error saying that brainstorm is not open.

Is there a way to purge the protocol?

I use matlab 2022b on arch-linux

Many thanks
Perrine

Hi Perrine,

It may be the case that the protocol.mat for that Protocol got corrupted.

Yes, you can regenerate the protocol.mat file with the Protocol files in HDD.
Instructions in this link:

Best,
Raymundo

Many thanks Raymundo for your proposal.

Unfortunately, it did not work. But I found a way around by deleting the hidden file .brainstorm in my home. It is a bit radical I guess, but it did the job. Brainstorm acts as if I was using it for the first time on this computer and request to create a new Protocol folder

Many thanks!
Perrine
