Loreta and Source localization

Good evening!
I just want to ask to the BS staff is it will possible to include the newer Loreta analysis: e-Loreta, SwLoreta, Z-Loreta, etc

It would be great!!! every version are more accurate!

Thanks in advance!!!

pd: I think Loreta is a promising feature!

This is a topic that came up multiple time:

@John_Mosher, @Sylvain and @leahy decided not to implement this solution in Brainstorm.

It should be possible to access this method through the FieldTrip source estimation process (ft_sourceanalysis), but it would require some more coding/testing.
There are a few lines of code missing to handle it correctly here:

Do you want to give it a try?

Thank you for the answer!

Thank you for your kind interest:

It is indeed unpractical to keep up with all variations of LORETA and recurrent claims of increased accuracy, despite the original sLORETA supposed to produce zero-error. The approach certainly has merits and we would be happy to hear directly from your own experience so that we may re-prioritize a possible Brainstorm integration.

I think you are right, Loreta has a lot of variations and everyone claims to be better than the last one and It won't be possible to integrate all of them. However, I think it might be interesting to give e-Loreta or z-Loreta a chance someday in BS, that would keep this software up to date
But in my experience, Mean Entropy approach has more accuracy

Thanks for the reply!
