Mean amplitude

hi Francois

is there any way to compute mean amplitude in brainstorm?

Hi Shadi,
Mean amplitude of what and along which dimension?
Have you look at the options in the process menus “Average”?
Francois

Dear Francois
I have 10 subjects and averages for each subject is computed using average menu (average by trial). now I need to compute mean amplitude of early ERP components for each subjects for later processes. yes I have checked average menu but I don’t think it works for mean amplitude.

Are you talking about MEG/EEG recordings or about source values?
Can you describe precisely what you call “mean amplitude”?

EEG recordings. in fact ERP.
no source value. I need to compute the mean of amplitudes in a range of time. for example the mean of amplitudes in the time range of 80 to 160 ms after stimulus will show the mean amplitude of P1 component. I calculate it instead of peak amplitude. it is like local amplitude but in a wider time range.

** is this the time average in average menu?

Drag and drop your files in the Process1 tab and run the process Average > Average time.

OK. thanks
