Movie: time frequency plot and brain map

Hello,

  1. I prepared the movie comparing 2 conditions at high gamma band (left vs. right column). I would like to prepare similar time frequency plots that would have other frequency bands as well (e.g. high gamma and alpha). Would it be possible to prepare the movie that would have 2 cursors, 1 running at gamma level, another running at alpha level in the same time frequency plot and brain imaging plot showing both oscillations per condition (lower left brain image would show both gamma and alpha oscillation as 2 cursors move over 2 different bands)? The reason is that, I would prepare only one movie depicting all frequency bands.
  2. Is it possible to put cursors at different frequencies in these 2 time frequency plots (e.g. at 89 on the left and at 79 on the right)?
  3. Is it possible after creating time frequency plots for different frequency bands separately to open them one by one subsequently without closing previous one? Normally, only plots with the same parameters can be opened at the same time.

Hello,

No I’m sorry it is not possible to display simultaneously two frequency bands. Like for the time, the frequencies are synchronized across all the figures. It adds some limitations, but overall makes it easier to navigate in the files interactively.

If you want to display simultaneously the maps for different frequency bands or different time points, you can take a screen capture of a figure (right-click > Snapshot > Open as image), and the change the time or frequency. This won’t work for a video, as the figure is now a static image.
