Nihon Kohden Channel Locations

Hi,
I realized that Brainstorm support with Nihon Kohden. I can import my data (.EEG) that contain Events and channel Labels. I cannot import Channel positions.
For each subject, I have an .EEG, .EDF, .21E, .BFT, .CMT, .CN2, .PNT .PTN and .log file.
Which one does contain Channel Locations and how I can import it? Thanks

I don’t think the Nihon Kohden file format includes information about the electrode positions.
Or at least I am not aware of it, and wouldn’t know how to read this information, unless you provide me with additional guidance.

Where are you expecting to get these electrodes positions from?
Have you digitized the 3D position of the electrodes on the head of your subjects?
Or were you expecting to use standard positions? Which cap are you using?

Thanks for prompt reply,
It is not possible for me to digitize the 3D position of electrode.
Data have 25 channels contain Fp1,Fp2, Cz,…. 10-20 system. I want to use only 21 channels including EEG data (with A1 & A2 on ears). What is your solution in Brainstorm?
For Example, can i use generic 10-20 19 from Colin 27 or not aligns?
Would you advise me, how I can delete event and ECG channels in Brainstorm?

First create a link to your continuous EEG file, then right-click on the channel file > Add EEG positions > ICBM152 > Generic > 10-20.
If you have already followed the introduction tutorials, at least #19, you can get some additional information about how to process EEG recordings in the tutorial “EEG and epilepsy”:
https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/Epilepsy

If you are importing the individual anatomy of the subjects but want to use generic positions for your EEG cap, you will need to edit the positions manually to fit the subject’s head shape (right-click on the channel file > MRI registration > Edit)

You can delete event markers easily from the Record tab when you review the recordings.
But do not try to remove any data channel from your recordings, just change their channel type to something else than EEG if they are bothering you (right-click > Edit channel file)
